Formation History
Precursor: International Canada Preschool
Collaboration with Sedbergh School in the UK
History of Sedbergh in the UK
16th Century: Sedbergh was founded in 1525 by Roger Lupton, a bishop in the city of Carlisle, a religious official at Windsor Cathedral, and an adviser to the royal family, including Kings Henry VII and Henry VIII.
19th Century: Around 1817, Sedbergh officially welcomed day students to the school. In 1834, Sedbergh became an independent private school, separate from Carlisle Cathedral.
20th and 21st Centuries: Sedbergh School continued its development journey and became one of the prestigious schools in the UK with a Cambridge-standard scientific curriculum, extracurricular activities, and fostering outstanding abilities for students along with the accumulated values of education for 500 years.
2024: Spreading the 500-year essence of British education in Vietnam – CVK transforms with international education collaboration with Sedbergh School.
